形態特徵

• Herbs to 50 cm tall, glabrous or minutely hairy; stems erect or lower part procumbent, square.
• Leaves in whorls of 3 or 4, sessile; blades 3–8 cm long, 1.5–5 mm wide, narrowly elliptic, base attenuate or cuneate, apex acuminate, margins loosely serrate, both surfaces minutely hairy on midrib, glandular dotted.
• Inflorescences of congested cymes forming dense terminal spikes; bracteoles 1–1.5 mm long, 0.5 mm wide, ovate to narrowly elliptic, puberulent on margin; peduncles puberulent. Flowers subsessile; calyx tubular, 1–1.2 mm long, teeth triangular; corolla more or less actinomorphic, 4-lobed, hairy outside.
• Nutlets obovoid, round at apex, smooth, 0.4–0.6 mm wide.

分布

• 世界 : Japan, mainland China, India, Malaysia and Australia.
